Service and calibration for the instruments your research runs on

Spectrofuge technicians maintain, repair and calibrate centrifuges, incubators, shakers and balances in labs across North Carolina. Each unit is on a preventive maintenance schedule, so wear gets caught at a visit instead of in the middle of a run.

Service plans

Every instrument gets its own plan, priced by make and model. Choose one or two PM visits a year, then decide how much of the repair cost you want covered.

Calibration can be added to any plan or booked on its own, once or twice a year.

How a service contract works

  1. List your equipment

We record each unit’s make, model, serial number, building and room, and quote a plan for each one.

  2. Book the year

Your PMs go on the schedule a year ahead, so you know which month each unit is due.

  3. Service and tag

A technician services the unit in your lab and tags it with the date and the next due date.

  4. Keep the record

Every visit is kept against the unit’s serial number, ready for audits and inspections.
